Some years later Mark left engineering and employed his business education at Merrill Lynch as a Research Analyst covering companies with multi-billion dollar market caps. One of the highlights of his engineering career was working with his father, Francisco Martinho and it would have been nice to also do a stint with his engineer brother, Frank Martinho.
In 2001, Mark decided to pursue one of his professional passions, Real Estate. Already invested in both the residential and commercial property sector, he decided to make it a full-time career. The change also brought some very important benefits. It kept him closer to home and the Martinho family coupled with allowing him to develop deeper, long term relationships with his clients and community.
Mark is married to Christina Martinho and has two kids that attended Clifford, North Star and Sequoia High School. Christina has worked at Sequoia Hospital for over 20 years as an Ultrasound/Echo Technician. She has seen many of our young people before they were ever born!
Today, Mark takes great pride in offering clients a positive and fun experience when buying or selling their homes. Most of his clients also appreciate the powerful and unique viewpoint he provides them by leveraging his engineering, financial and construction skills.
