Tom loves challenges and helping people succeed. He grew up on the SF Peninsula and worked his way through San Jose State. He later graduated with honors from one of the very first Executive MBA programs (National University), while turning around a construction firm.
Prior to real estate Tom had four successful yet varied careers, all specializing in turnaround management. This included Juvenile Probation Officer/Juvenile Hall Superintendent, then Construction Company Manager/Business Development Director and then Business Association Director/CEO.
His fourth and final career bloomed when Tom orchestrated another hands-on turnaround that got into his blood. He stepped in as CEO of Santa Clara County Association of Realtors, one of the 20 largest Realtor associations in the USA. That’s where he mastered the real estate business… from the top-down. He also discovered his passion for helping people create wealth to pass on to future generations, by owning real estate. That’s another story to ask him about.
Tom has a unique combination of experience including real estate brokerage, hands-on construction, property management and solving problems. So, he can guide his clients through the maze of buying or selling properties, financing and cost-effective renovations that turn houses into great homes. His clients say he soon becomes their trusted advisor, consultant, real estate mentor and friend. It’s no wonder almost 100% of his business is referrals from his happy clients.
Tom knows the real estate business both ground-up and top-down. In his 20 years in real estate Tom has been among the top 7% of the entire MLS Listings 15,000+ Realtors in closed real estate transactions.
Tom is also well respected by his peers, who voted him 2019 Realtor of the Year for San Mateo County, by the 3,000+ member San Mateo County Association of Realtors.
