As a real estate agent, I enjoy helping people feel at home in their new house and neighborhood, whether they are relocating from across the pond or somewhere closer. I have firsthand experience raising children who went through the San Carlos school system and have gone on to be successful in college. I know how hard it is when you don’t know anyone in your new surroundings, so I recommend the best schools to my clients as well as local good eats, health care professionals and other community resources.
Most people can’t remember their realtor’s name, but my clients know my name because they hear from me on a regular basis through my client appreciation program. I’m always available to them as a resource to refer trusted professionals they may need in both their personal and professional life. I give back to the community by supporting other small business owners and am the leader of the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce Business Networking Group, for which I became the 2018 San Carlos Chamber Champion.

I moved from Wales, UK to the San Francisco Peninsula in 2001 with my husband and our two young children. After renting in Redwood City for a few years, we bought our current home in San Carlos. It took us a while to get familiar with our new surroundings, and we were in for a bit of a culture shock.
I’ve always had an interest in home building and construction. My father did plasterwork when I was growing up, and I helped him on construction sites during the school vacations. After settling in the Bay Area, I studied interior design at Canada College in Redwood City and opened my own interior design staging business. I earned my real estate license in 2012 and became a real estate broker in 2016.
I see the design and functional potential of properties. When I show a home to buyers, I paint a “buyer vision” for them. We discuss what can be done to make the home nicer to live in, increase its value and even the opportunity to build an accessory dwelling unit to help subsidize the mortgage payment.
I help sellers figure out which cosmetic updates they should make to create additional value and bring a higher sale price. When a seller’s home is ready to go on the market part of my marketing plan is to have a professionally filmed video walkthrough tour produced to introduce the home, highlight its best features and surrounding community.
I have received many awards during my time with Realty World and won the 2018 Hall of Fame top company award. I graduated for the University of Warwick, UK in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Microbiology and Virology.
